What is MaxiMall^®?
MaxiMall^® is a Singapore online shopping mall. MaxiMall^® and its logo are Singapore registered trademarks owned by
Singsoft Pte Ltd - a Singapore registered corporation (Company Registration No. 08232323R).

What are the fees involved in setting up an online shop with MaxiMall?
One-time setup fee: SGD999
Annual fee: SGD499/year
Transaction Fee: 9.5%

Can I setup my online shop with MaxiMall if I do not have a company?
No, only Singapore registered companies are eligible to setup an online shop with MaxiMall.

Can I setup my online shop with MaxiMall if my company is a foreign company?
Currently, we only accept Singapore registered companies.

Do I need to have a website or domain or server to host my online shop?
No, you do not need a website/domain/server. Your online shop will be parked under maximall.com domain and you will be given an address like http://www.maximall.com/sg/yourstore. Customers will be able to go to your online shop by typing this address in their browsers.

Can I still use MaxiMall for my online shopping cart if I have a website but I do not have a shopping cart solution?
Yes, it does not matter whether you have or not a website, you still can use MaxiMall as your online shopping system. You just need to create a link on your existing website for the online shop to point to MaxiMall.com (e.g. http://www.maximall.com/sg/yourstore).

What is the maximum number of products I can put up on my online shop?
Currently, we do not limit the total number of products for each shop.

Will I be informed if there is an order for my shop?
Yes, once the order is confirmed, a notification email will be sent to you.

Will MaxiMall deliver my products to my customers?
No, you will have to handle your own delivery. However, we do have delivery partners that can help you if you need.

Are there any restrictions on the products that I can sell on MaxiMall?
Yes, the following products, but not limited to, are not allowed to be sold on MaxiMall:
- pornographic media (photos, video, etc)
- pirated software
- counterfeit and unauthorized goods
- cigarettes
- alcohols
- drugs and medicines
- pyrotechnic devices and hazardous materials
- weapons
- products disallowed under Singapore Law.

Can I sell services in MaxiMall?
No, only physical goods can be sold in MaxiMall at the moment.

Do I need an Internet Merchant Account or Payment Gateway?
No, you do not need an Internet Merchant Account or any Payment Gateway as MaxiMall will take care of all the transactions for you. All you need is a PayPal account* (recommended) or a Singapore bank account to receive your payout.

*PayPal account is free. You can create one at http://www.paypal.com

How is the transaction done and when will I get my payout?
MaxiMall will handle all the transactions of your sales and credit the sales amount (minus transaction fee) into your PayPal account every day. If you do not have a PayPal account, we can transfer it to your Singapore bank account*.

*the payout time will depend on PayPal and the bank.

How does my online shop look like?
There will be a number of design templates available for your selection during setup. You will be able to select a preferred style/design, place your logo or banner on your shop homepage.

What will happen after the contract period if we do not wish to renew?
Your online shop with MaxiMall will be suspended if you do not renew your contract upon expiry. A message "This shop is temporarily not available" will be displayed on your shop homepage and your products will not be listed on MaxiMall.com. After account expiry, you may still login to your MaxiMall account within 6 months to download your product data, invoice, order list, etc. Your account will be removed after 6 months of expiry.

We would like our online shop to follow our corporate style. Is this possible?
Yes, we will be able to customize an online shop based on your requirements with extra cost which depends on the complexity of the design and functions you would like to have.

How would marketing be done to ensure traffic to my online shop?
We are actively promoting our online shopping mall maximall.com on some high-traffic websites such as 88DB.com, ST701.com and Google. This is done even before its launch. Once the website is launched we will put campaigns in place for online and offline promotions, we are currently considering well-targeted advertising on websites, buses, taxis, etc. As the main fee-structure is transaction based this will also ensure that we make money when you make money which will also drive advertising investments. This is part of the service we provide.
